PROFILE

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

I work as a full-time faculty member at the Department of Journalism and Media Studies in Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. 

I completed my four-year Bachelor's and one-year Master's programmes in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka. Besides, I did an MA in Development Studies (major in human rights, gender, and conflict studies) from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Before joining academia, I served Bangladesh's leading English language newspaper The Daily Star as a dedicated reporter.
