Conference on Mapillary, Bangladesh
Eastern University Bangladesh, Mapillary and OSM Bangladesh Community arranged a daylong workshop on Mapillary Bangladesh on 15th December 2017 at Eastern University campus and the event was sponsored by Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS, Jahangirnagar University (IRS-JU). The IRS team attended in the workshop and two volunteers of IRSGIS were presented their presentation. The Community Manager of Mapillary Mr. Edoardo Neerhut addressed the opening session as the Chief Guest. IRS director Professor Dr. Sheikh Tawhidul Islam and Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed Assistant Professor of University of Toronto, Canada also spoke in the opening session as the Special Guests. The Dean of Engineering School of Eastern University Dr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman was the chair in the inaugural session.
