PROFILE

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. I started my doctoral studies in January 2021. I did my second Master of Arts in Philosophy in 2017 at the University of Alberta, Canada, in a thesis group. I wrote my dissertation titled "A Defense of Bertrand Russell's Theory of Definite Descriptions against Donnellan's Distinction" under the co-supervision of Professor Bernard Linsky and Professor Ingo Brigandt. I earned my Master of Arts in Philosophy and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka, in 2006 and 2005 respectively. I joined the Department as a lecturer in 2011. Since then I have been teaching several courses at the undergraduate, and graduate levels. My research interest belongs to the domain of the Philosophy of Language, Informal Logic, Virtue Ethics, and Metaphysics.
