PROFILE
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Shakil Ahmed, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Government and Politics of Jahangirnagar University. He is also an Adjunct Faculty at the Department of Political Science and Sociology of North South University. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Tsukuba. Dr. Ahmed is trained in political science and earned his PhD from the University of Tsukuba. He conducts research on civil society organizations. Other than political science, he occasionally teaches history, public policy and law at various academic departments.
