Dear Faculty Member/ Researchers/Students,

Greetings from the Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS (IRS), Jahangirnagar University. I am pleased to announce that IRS has taken the initiative to publish a journal on the above-mentioned title. This journal will publish original research papers on conceptual, theoretical, methodological, and translational innovations in geospatial studies, sciences, management, and technologies, as well as on relevant issues. We cordially invite you and your colleagues to submit a research manuscript for the second volume. Manuscripts can be submitted electronically to the email irsgis@juniv.edu. Please find attached our ‘Guidelines for Authors’, which will provide detailed instructions on how to prepare and submit the manuscript to The Jahangirnagar University Journal of Geospatial Sciences. The manuscript should be submitted by 31 January 2026 for publication in Volume 2.
